Integration with National Databases

NIH-funded research requires that data are collected in specific formats and integrated with national databases accessible to the research community.

Labmatrix includes a unified data set that facilitates the collection of clinical and laboratory data in agreed-upon formats for integration as required by NIH. Our researchers and staff aid in data capture and management across multiple institutions, in line with requirements of specific national databases, using defined data dictionaries for genetic variables, biomarkers, and imaging data.  Read more about Labmatrix here.    {jumps to the LabMatrix page.}

Faculty members work closely with national data repositories, including the National Institute on Aging's Genetics of Alzheimer's Disease Data Storage Site (NIAGADS) and the National Cell Repository for Alzheimer’s Disease (NCRAD). We also support data sharing with the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC).
