Shopping at Beachwood Place Mall, Legacy Village, or LA Place Shopping Center and find yourself hungry? Where do you go? I have already posted one of my favorite places to go in the Beachwood Place Mall, but there are certainly other worthwhile mentions.

One such mention is Cedar Creek Grille, located at the LA Place Shopping Center adjacent to Beachwood Place Mall. Mom and I spent an early February Saturday afternoon shopping at Beachwood when we noticed the afternoon had become evening, and we were starting to think about dinner. We called Steve and suggested the three of us meet next door to try Cedar Creek Grille. It was still relatively early that night, and the restaurant is pretty big, so surely they would be able to seat us right away. Surely.

Well, it turns out that this restaurant is quite popular with the surrounding neighborhoods. All the tables were reserved or already seated by the time we arrived. The only place left for us was the communal table near the kitchen, and we grabbed it before the three seats disappeared. The seating admittedly was not ideal given it was really loud (so loud the waitress missed part of our order), and Mom is short and has a hard time with bar stools. Nevertheless, it was a solid American-inspired meal (Figures 1 and 2) and a nice atmosphere undoubtedly amplified in good weather when the massive windows are opened for the instant patio effect. If you want to fully enjoy that atmosphere on the weekend, however, reservations are highly recommended.
