Where do the ladies lunch? On the third floor of Nordstrom at Beachwood Place mall, that’s where.

Mom and I often find ourselves shopping on weekend afternoons at the mall, and inevitably our shopping bleeds over into hours usually reserved for lunch or dinner. The Beachwood Place mall and the nearby Legacy Village and La Place Center all have sit-down and fast food options for a quick meal. For whatever reason, we prefer Sixth & Pine. Why? Perhaps it reminds me of the time Steve and I spent living in Seattle, or perhaps it reminds me of shopping with Mom in Nashville at the Greenhills Mall.

Or, perhaps it’s the consistently good food and service. The menu offers an assortment of salads, sandwiches (Figure), and entrees as well as a good selection of wines by the glass. You can dine at tables and booths for leisurely group chats, or sit at the counter if dining solo or as a cool couple. The weekends are very busy, so the wait can be long. But, it’s always been well worth it to us.
